Authorities should now review samples from other containers to determine if all cargo was adulterated and the exact amount of drug intended to be transported.
Agents added that apparently the final destination was the port of the city of Lome in Togo, Africa.
From the investigation division of the National Naval Prefecture and the National Customs Directorate, they explained that the four containers allegedly transported soy flour.
The National Navy added that this could be the biggest blow to drug trafficking in the history of Uruguay.
Now the investigations will focus on knowing the origin of the merchandise, place of loading and possible involved explained from the National Navy.
