Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reiterated his country's readiness to cooperate with its neighbors in order to guarantee Gulf security.
And Zarif said in a tweet on Twitter today that Iran has expressed its willingness to cooperate with its neighbors for the sake of ensuring Gulf security and that the Hormuz Peace Initiative is currently on the table.
On the other hand, Zarif stressed that the joint exercises in the Oman Sea and the Indian Ocean between Iran, Russia and China clearly reveal the commitment of the three countries to ensure the security of vital waterways.
The joint naval exercises between Iran, Russia and China were launched earlier today in the northern Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman and will last for four days.
