Idlib-Sana

Today, Syrian Arab Army units in the southeastern countryside of Idlib thwarted an attack by terrorist groups on the Jarjanaz-Alt axis, and caused them heavy losses in equipment and personnel.

A Sana correspondent stated that the army units detonated two car bombs, one on the Al-Tahr axis and the other on the Jarjanaz axis, in which the terrorist groups were forced to cause a breach in the lines of engagement.

The army units responded to the terrorist groups of the "Jabhat Al-Nusra" organization and its related groups after engaging with them with appropriate weapons, destroyed their weapons, inflicted heavy losses on individuals and equipment, and continued targeting their remnants who fled towards their areas of deployment in the city of Ma`rat al-Numan.

The General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces announced, on the 24th of this month, clearing more than 320 square kilometers, expelling the "Al-Nusra Front" organization and the rest of the armed terrorist organizations from it, and entering more than forty towns and villages in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib.

And spread in a number of areas of rural Idlib terrorist organizations affiliated with the Takfiri “Jabhat al-Nusra” organization, and they attack the army's points, villages and safe towns, while the army units continue their operations against the terrorists in that region.
