Manufacturing and feed-producing facilities initially encouraged industrial enterprises owners to renovate their facilities and rehabilitation and return to work.

The number of producing establishments has reached 600, including 300 for the textile industry, 150 for the engineering industry, and the rest for the chemical and food industries. Work is under way to rehabilitate and restore 250 industrial facilities to return to service during the next few months, according to Ajan.

He added that the volume of investment in the industrial city exceeded 130 billion Syrian pounds, as new investments entered the labor market. The number of building licenses granted was 150 in 2016 and 100 in the last year, pointing out that the industrial city moved to implement strategic projects, including the exhibition city project, which is one of the projects The pilot that has been approved and is being implemented.

He pointed to another project that is complementary to the industry, which is the implementation of the craft zone, which will include the first episode of industries supporting large industries, as its studies are nearing completion and implementation will begin during the next year. Preparation for the labor housing project in coordination with the General Housing Corporation has also been launched for subscription and will be implemented in the Sheikh Zayat area on An area of ​​258 hectares, as well as the occupational housing in the industrial city that belongs to the employees, has been completed, and the first stage of construction has been completed and equipped and will be invested during the first quarter of the year 2020, thus contributing to the localization of employment in the city.

Industrialist Jacques Bahadi, owner of a furniture and home furnishing manufacturing facility, talked about the serious damage to his facility due to terrorism and the efforts he made to restore it with the will and determination to return to work and production and adhere to his city of Aleppo, which he loved and lived in.

The industrialist, Muhammad Wafai, the owner of a chemical and plastic industries facility, said that he is one of the first industrialists to return to the industrial city of Sheikh Najjar and proceeded to repair and restore what was destroyed by terrorism and to produce items of household plastic chairs and their requirements.

It is noteworthy that the industrial city is 4412 hectares and contains textile, engineering, chemical and food industries.
