Deir Al-Zour City Council put basaltic sculptures in a number of roundabouts and public parks in the city in addition to lighting the squares and roundabouts and setting water sprinklers to add an aesthetic image to them.
The head of Deir Al-Zour City Council, Eng. Raed Mandeel, stated in a statement to a Sana correspondent today that, as part of the efforts of the city council to beautify and decorate the squares and roundabouts in the city, basaltic sculptures were produced from the product of the Fourth Victory Forum for Sculpture that was held in Deir Al-Zour two months ago in four rotors within the city, which is the Seif roundabout The state, Al-Faiha, Bahr Afra, and Al-Nsour will benefit from all the results of the sculpture forum with gardens, facilities and squares, indicating that the sculptures were chosen in a way that suits the spatial and symbolic nature of each yard.
In turn, the artist Mohamed Fouad Joudia, director of the Victory Forum for Sculpture, said that the sculptures that were placed in the roundabouts of the city of Deir Al-Zour express the heritage of the region and the unity of the Syrian soil, where we have chosen sculptures that reflect an aesthetic image and highlight a heritage case linked to the region and express originality, equestrian, history, giving and generosity, in addition to that An aesthetic aspect.
