With the participation of reconciliation committees from different governorates, a conference was held today gathering popular activities for national reconciliation under the title "Syrians .. national reconciliation is determined to victory" at the Ebla Al-Sham Hotel in Damascus.

The head of the National Reconciliation Commission, Dr. Ali Haider, indicated in a speech to him that the conference is a prelude to a working vision for the coming year, explaining that national reconciliation is the project of the Syrian people, with all its children, to achieve the national interest.

Dr. Haider pointed out that "the doors of the state and the Reconciliation Commission open again to real reconciliations, even to those areas that have not yet returned to the state's authority, whether in Idlib or elsewhere, and it is a message for those outside the country and thinks that he cannot return", pointing to the return of a good percentage of the displaced From Lebanon and Jordan during the last period.

The Ambassador of Yemen in Damascus, Nayef Al-Kanas, in his speech, praised the steadfastness of the Syrian people in the face of terrorism and the reconciliation project as a model with its important results, affirming the Yemeni people standing despite their ordeal alongside Syria.

For his part, the Mufti of Daraa Bassam Masalmeh pointed out that through reconciliation, tolerance and the kind word, we are victorious over hatred and hatred, pointing to the sacrifices of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army that paved the way for the success of the reconciliations.

In turn, Ismail Al-Sheikh, adviser to the president of the National Reconciliation Commission, explained that the reconciliation project succeeded, thanks to the great efforts that were sincerely made to be part of the victory that the Syrian Arab Army is achieving on the fronts, so that the national flag flies every inch of the homeland.

The head of the National Initiative for National Reconciliation, Jaber Issa, indicated that the conference aims to review the previously achieved reconciliation and obstacles that hinder the work of the reconciliation committees to address them with the reconciliation commission and the concerned authorities.

The conference was attended by clan elders, heads, members of reconciliation committees from all governorates, a number of members of the People's Assembly, ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps accredited, and international organizations working in Damascus.
