18 years old killed in motorcycle accident in Jerusalem; Another rider was seriously injured
The two skated while traveling on Shmuel Meir Boulevard, the corner of Isaac Nissim in Jerusalem. MDA teams determined the young woman's death at the scene and evacuated the additional rider, 18, for medical treatment at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital

An 18-year-old girl was killed tonight (Sunday) while the motorcycle he was riding slid on Shmuel Meir Boulevard in the corner of Rabbi Yitzhak Nissim in Jerusalem. MDA crews arriving at the scene determined her death. In the accident, another 18-year-old rider, seriously injured, was approached for medical treatment at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
MDA paramedic Raphael Herbst said: "This is a very serious accident. Two motorcyclists, a young man and young woman of 18, were lying on the road a great distance from the motorcycle. The young woman was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing and suffering from severe injuries to her body, we performed medical examinations but she was without signs of life and we were left with nothing to determine her death. The young man, who was aware of and suffered multiple systemic injuries, was treated on the ground and was in serious condition at the hospital when his condition was stable. "
