Haredi judge from the United States Ruhi Freer and her husband Rabbi David Freer were honored to write a letter in "The Book of the Torah of the People of Israel," initiated by Rabbi David Avraham Pressman, as part of the desire to create a connection and union with the people of Israel.

In the last few days, Ferrier arrived in Israel for a few days. Last night (just Saturday), just hours before returning to the US, she and her husband participated in writing a letter in the Torah scroll of the Jewish people.

At the time of writing the letter, Judge Rabbi Pressman acknowledged the opportunity to write a letter in the Torah that unites Clal Israel, "It is amazing, this thing that unites Clal Israel ... Everyone can write in the Torah."

Remember, this is the first ultra-Orthodox Hasidic judge in New York, who began her public career after founding the "Women's Aid" charity - a women's rescue organization and all volunteers there are women.

During her visit to Israel, Freer also met with President Rivlin at his official residence in Jerusalem when last night he took part in the Torah scroll venture.

For the past two years, Rabbi Pressman has granted the special privilege of writing a letter in the Book of the Torah of the People of Israel to people from all corners of Israeli society. The initiative was joined by a host of people from all walks of life who participated in the venture. The Torah scroll will be inserted with the help of God into the Western Wall when it is completed by all parts of Israel.
