The aggravated incident happened yesterday (Sunday) before the ceremony of the Rev. Jack Cummings, who said that prior to the incident, the shooter "acted very nervously and aroused the suspicion of the church security staff."
The church has been running a security team for ten years to prevent such incidents. In addition, last September, firearms license holders were also allowed to carry their weapons at religious events to protect the public. According to the pastor, "the quick response from the staff saved a great many lives."
A video of the serious shooting event was published almost immediately as the church broadcasts its masses live. In a documented video, the shooter leans against the wall, talks to another person and then opens fire. At the same time, all worshipers appear to fall to the ground and try to hide behind their chairs. The shooter was able to shoot twice until he shot himself.

After the shooting, FBI forces launched an investigation. No details have yet been provided about the two fatalities or the identity of the shooter. FBI man Matthew De Sereno said only the shooter had a criminal record but was not on the organization's watch list.
Later, a large press conference was held in the presence of the Texas lieutenant governor, with Church official eulogizing Briton Fermer, the two killed: "We lost two dear people and heroes today. To defend ourselves within the churches as well. "
