The legal battle continues: The family of Naama Issachar, the Israeli young woman imprisoned in Russia, claimed on Tuesday (Tuesday) that Issachar was recently transferred to a remote prison - without being notified to the family or the defense team. According to the family, Issachar was spotted by the Israeli consulate in Moscow yesterday evening.

After Issachar was found, a lawyer from the 26-year-old Israeli defense team met with her in jail, and revealed that she did not allow her to transfer the warm clothing she received from her mother, nor the books she received from her family. The lawyer also stated that the Russian authorities intend to transfer Naama again next week, but were not told where. The family fears that Naama will be taken to the Siberian prison - which is more difficult to access.

Remember, the affair began after Russian police found Naama's bag of about 10 grams of cannabis while landing at the Moscow airport as part of a flight from India to Israel. Last October, she was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison after being convicted of drug smuggling.

During her arrest, it was reported that Russia was ready for release in exchange for the extradition of Russian hacker Alexei Burkov, who was in extradition proceedings to the United States for credit card fraud. Israel finally extradited Burkov to the United States - and not Russia. The young woman's appeal to the Russian court was also rejected, which is apparently why she was taken to a prison for prisoners after their legal proceedings.

On the day of the appeal, Naama's mother, Yaffe, attacked the Russian judiciary and told of her daughter's condition. "This morning I met Naama in prison for the first time since the trial. The meeting was charged, Naama very disturbed. Ten days after the sentencing, she is supposed to have an inmate in a regular prison and it can be anywhere in Russia, she expects to get home and she feels it is just moving away in time That she is drawn deeper into this nightmare scenario.

"I told her she was a queen, she said she was proud of everything that went out of her mouth without stammering at all, that she really trained a lot and it was important to make her voice clear, even though everything there at the end turned out to be one big show.

"She told me that while she was inside the glass booth and her eyes intersected with everyone in the courtroom, foreign reporters, Israeli journalists, she felt their love. They smiled at her with warm, enlightening eyes and it provided her little comfort for the difficult moments of the aftermath. She concluded that she was Wanting to appeal to a higher court, she won't believe this is her sentence, and rightly so.

"We will not stop fighting for her release, nor will she. There is certainly endless power in it that amazes me even, I do not know where it draws it. I so want to believe that soon it will be over and she will be home with me again," concluded Yishachar.
