Teens from Kiryat Gat protest against the expulsion of their girlfriend's mother: "She can't go"
Edit: Saul AdamDozens of teenagers from Kiryat Gat launched a fight Tuesday to fight the expulsion of their girlfriend's mother from Israel. Rachel Rzhevsky, an eighth-grader at Shalon School in the city, was born in Israel to an Israeli father and mother, Rima, a Russian citizen. The mother came to Israel 20 years ago following the marriage and has lived in Israel ever since. A few years ago, the father returned to Russia and the mother and daughter remained with their grandfather, Edward, a Holocaust survivor.
Rima was granted temporary resident status, but two weeks ago the court decided that it should return to Russia within 30 days. Now, Rachel has to choose whether to return to Russia with her mother, a place whose culture she does not know or master, or stay in Israel and grow up without a mother. Grandpa also has no family in the country, and his mother and daughter are his only relatives.
Outside the family's house, Rachel's friends protested, shouting "Where's the mercy?" And "she can't go." The boys were holding signs that read: "Mother has only one", "Divorce is not the solution" and "Mother and daughter are not separated."

I am really asking for help, it's not human." .
Did Rima tell that Israel is her home. She said, "I have nowhere to go, I've been here for 20 years. There's a grandpa here who's like my dad and I help him. I can't leave the girl."
