Immigration issues that made history in the United States
In 2019, the government of President Donald Trump once again placed great emphasis on the fight against illegal immigration. Its policies sought to prevent the arrival of migrants from Central America and to restrict the laws granting asylum, among other measures. The year of the Trump political trial process
This year the US House of Representatives He did a political trial investigation and approved two charges against Donald Trump. He accuses him of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The charges stem from the investigation according to which the president would have used taxpayers' money as bait to pressure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to open investigations that could affect former Vice President Joe Biden, a possible Trump political rival, before the election of 2020 (there is no evidence that Biden committed any crime). From January to November 30, 2019, 31,688 homicides were counted in Mexico. Although the final figures for the year will not be known until 2020, that number indicates that 2019 was the deadliest year since registration.
