Turkey provided a copy of the Ottoman Archives to the Palestinian Authority, which includes tens of thousands of real estate registration documents in the territories of the Ottoman Empire, which ruled Israel in 1917-1516. Lawyers from the ISA already use the archive material to challenge Israeli possession of land throughout the country, especially in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.

The first complete copy of the archive was initially deposited in the Palestinian Representative Building in Ankara. In March last year, part of it was moved to Bethlehem. The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center documented this, as did the entire archive transfer case. But for some reason - although the Palestinians were given a device that could shock the real estate market in the country - this story "went under the radar" and the storytellers did not shake.

The key man in the ceremony in Bethlehem was Joseph Adais, the Palestinian minister of endowments, who received the files related to the Waqf assets in Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

Now, East Jerusalem lawyers routinely resort to archiving to find information. The documents help them in the legal battles they are waging for possession of many lands, especially in the Jerusalem area. One of the prime examples of this is properties and plots of land in the Old City, with Jewish and Arab hands struggling for them. The best known is the Western Wall Square, where the Mughrabi neighborhood, which Israel evacuated and destroyed, was housed to prepare a prayer square. While this is the ground that Israel has expropriated and there is no legal probability that it will come out of it, at least propaganda - the presentation of the registration documents may embarrass Israel.

Justice Musa Shekharna, chairman of the Palestinian Land Authority, is already managing land registration in the Taboo of both Judea and Jerusalem, including Turkey and the archives. In an interview he gave to the Wafa News Agency, which Karna explained that with the help of registering Palestinian land that lives in the Aliyah, he exercises the "right of return."
