Following the precedent appointments of women in key positions in the Corps in recent years, and as part of the IAF's policy on women's integration, this week the IAF commander summarized the promotion of two first officers in the Air Force's rank of lieutenant colonel.

In recent years, more and more women can be seen in senior positions in the Air Force. Last September, Commander C, the First Air Force Squadron Command, entered the 122nd Squadron ("Nahshon"). Family tradition
