Dmitry Novikov, deputy head of the State Committee for Foreign Affairs of the Russian State Duma, confirmed that sending the Turkish regime forces to Libya would worsen the situation and would reflect negatively on the Libyan people.
"Russia will have to build its policy in accordance with developments and ensure that all factors are taken into account," Sputnik news agency quoted Novikov as saying today, commenting on the Turkish regime's plans to send troops to Libya.
The Turkish parliament, dominated by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), earlier today authorized the head of the regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, of what he intends to do in terms of plans to send weapons and military forces to Libya.
Erdogan had talked last Thursday about his expansionist ambitions and Ottoman illusions to reoccupy the region and announced his intention to send Turkish forces to Libya and made the parliament controlled by his Brotherhood party vote on this matter while the Libyan National Army spokesman Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari confirmed that the Turkish regime transferred hundreds of the most dangerous terrorists from ISIS and al-Qaeda from Syria to Libya.
