Beirut-Sana
The General Secretariat of the Arab National Conference condemned the interference of the Turkish regime in the internal Libyan affairs, stressing that Libya is a sovereign Arab country, not Ottoman nor affiliated with anyone.
The General Secretariat said in a statement today that the Turkish regime's announcement of intervention to send its forces to Libya opens the door for a direct regional and international war on Libyan territory, stressing its complete rejection of all regional and international interventions targeting Libya's security and territorial integrity, including Turkish intervention.
The General Secretariat called on all the Libyan people to solve the crisis in their countries through dialogue and to rebuild the components and institutions of the unified Libyan state.
The Turkish Parliament, which is dominated by the ruling Justice and Development Party, earlier in the day authorized the head of the regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to plan to send weapons and military forces to Libya.
