A new culinary complex will open in the Rose Garden in Jerusalem, right across from the Knesset. • Each month, the three businesses operating instead of other dining carts will be inspired. • Inspiration for the initiative: the food complexes in Berlin and Washington

A new culinary complex called the Kitchenette is set to open next week at the Rose Garden in Jerusalem, right in front of the Knesset. The complex is a joint initiative of the Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Development Authority and the Jerusalem Ministry of Heritage. The hungry workers who come to the area will find three food trolleys, "Food Trucks" of local restaurants that change every month when the prices of the dishes range from NIS 35 to NIS 55.
The new complex is designed to improve the quality of life of many civil servants and visitors to the Knesset, government offices and the Supreme Court, as there are no restaurants and cafes in the public space in this area. Alongside the culinary possibilities of the "kitchenette" complex, the venue will offer further leisure and enrichment activities later. The restaurants that will be located in the complex this January are: the chain of "Kafit" cafes that will offer a milky menu, "Angelica" restaurant and the "Exhibitor" market restaurant with a meat menu.
The Kafit coffee chain will serve noon soup and focaccia, fish and chips and Argento sweet potato at noon, along with coffee and pastries to be served in the morning. Visitors can choose between the Cuban Beet Soup, Beef Supermarket and Potatoes and a Moroccan pie bar in a pita or plate. Angelica's restaurant will offer beef patties with Jerusalem artichoke, celery and saffron, chestnut pumpkin with lentil salad and clotting and beef asado with home barbecue and maple.
