Two people were stabbed to death in France

According to media outlets in the state, yesterday (Friday) a man stabbed at least four bystanders before fleeing the scene. He was shot dead by police. The attack took place in the village of Villjouf, located seven miles south of the capital Paris.

The British Daily Mail reported that eyewitnesses at the scene, south of Paris, claimed the attacker had called "Allah Akbar" before launching the stabbing attack.

It was also reported in several media outlets that the stabber was wearing an explosive belt, although this information was not officially confirmed. Police advised the public to stay away from the scene near the National Park.
