New Year - old infrastructure. Heavy rain has been plaguing the center area in recent hours, resulting in numerous disruptions in the area, ranging from northern Tel Aviv to southern Jerusalem, Jaffa, Holon and the Ono Valley, due to the flooding and blockages caused by the rains.
From Mata Tech, it was reported that from 10:00 am, between 60 and 80 mm of rain fell in Tel Aviv. The area of the dolphinarium coast was measured 80 mm and in the center of Tel Aviv 73. In the nearby Bat Yam, 14 mm were measured. Many rains were also measured, mainly in Ein Carmel, where 58 mm of rain was measured and in Haifa 31.
The Israel Police released a block update as of 2:30 pm detailing the blockages in the relevant areas. In the south of Tel Aviv, where the focus of the flood was due to the many rains and rickety infrastructure, the streets were blocked: the Bnei Brak Jewish Brigade, the entire new Central Station area and the surrounding streets are completely flooded.
Holon is blocked from traffic on the Peled Street, and the Warriors Street is blocked to the east. In Bnei Brak, Kishon Street is closed to traffic following flooding.

The stormy weather has caused a lot of flooding in homes across the city of Tel Aviv. On Lehi Street in the city, two were evacuated - a woman about 80 and a young woman about 23 suffering from minor limb injuries.
