Today, interrogators of the National Guard Investigation Unit (JHA) in Blade 433 raided his office and confiscated documents.
The investigation, conducted by the Israel Police and accompanied by the Central District Attorney's Office, was opened following information provided by the Prison Service and indicated an apparent suspicion of the alleged offenses. The police said it would "continue to expose offenses and investigate wrongdoing in conflict of interest, and to seek and reach any place where there is a suspicion of public corruption that violates the rules of government and the proper administration."

About two weeks ago, Walla learned! NEWS that the Department of Prison Inquiry at Lahav 433 investigates suspicions of purity of virtue in the office of Chief Rabbi. As part of the investigation, the investigators also confiscated documents and computers from his office. The investigation is being conducted against the background of the procedure for appointing a Police Commissioner and IPS Commissioner during the transition government. Last week, the Advisory Committee on Senior Position Appointments rejected Arden's request to have her review some of the names of several candidates, despite the minister's request.
