He falls from a helicopter, a dead ski instructor

A French-born ski instructor died following an accident during a heli-ski trip. According to a first reconstruction, it crashed into the void for about 400 meters from a helicopter which had been caught and which had left to return to the valley.
The events took place around 12 o'clock, on the French side of Monte Miravidi, on the border with the territory of La Thuile (Aosta). Once on the mountain ridge, the pilot sent down the skiers, including the ski instructor, to allow them to face the descent. For reasons being examined by the French authorities, however, the man remained entangled in the aircraft, perhaps with a backpack or a buckle. The helicopter took off, without the pilot being aware of the problem. After a few seconds of flight the ski instructor then crashed.
