Tsur Ezra, 22, a resident of Kibbutz Mesilot, is the youngest killed Wednesday during a fitness training session.
MDA staff were called to treat Ezra after being injured during training from heavy weights that landed on his upper body.
MDA senior medic, Redeemer Neeman, who will return: "When we arrived, we were taken to a shelter where the young man trained. He was lying unconscious, pulse-free and breathless with an injury to his body. We gave him medical treatment and we performed advanced and prolonged resuscitation operations which included souls, massages and medication but unfortunately we had to determine his death. "
Just eight months ago, Ezra was discharged from the military service and has since worked in agriculture.
At Kibbutz Mesilot, they said: "A heavy disaster fell on our home today with the announcement of the death of Tzur Ezra. We embrace all members of the family at this difficult time."
