Evo Morales gives indications of when he would return to Bolivia 4:24
(CNN Spanish) - The general director of the Fight Against Corruption, Mathías Kutsch, informed on Wednesday that the Government of Bolivia will begin the investigation of 592 former government officials of former President Evo Morales.
The objective is to recover assets abroad and for that they seek to identify “who are the people who have committed crimes of corruption and who have diverted public resources and who have mainly referred them to other countries and who are currently refugees abroad”, Kutsch explained at a press conference from the Ministry of Justice in La Paz.

When asked about the contents of the list of almost 600 people, he said that it is of a reserved nature since first inquiries will be made “to determine if there are elements” although he said that it includes all hierarchical authorities of which the Executive Branch was then, between They, Evo Morales, Vice President Álvaro García Linera, among others.
Through a tweet, former President Evo Morales rejected the announcement: “The de facto Minister of Justice violates the Political Constitution of the State by presuming the guilt of 592 former MAS officials and their families. He puts himself above the judges dictating conviction, without prior trial. The regime of Áñez, Mesa and Camacho is violent, sower of false evidence and defamatory, ”said the ex-president
which now resides in Argentina as an asylee since December 12 of last year.
The de facto Justice Minister violates the CPE by presuming the guilt of 592 former MAS officials and their families. He puts himself above the judges dictating conviction, without a prior trial. The regime of Áñez, Mesa and Camacho, is violent, sower of false evidence and defamatory.
