In Nahariya, the city's streets were flooded, and a 35-year-old man was found dead without drifting into the water, after large parts of the northern city were flooded. The body of Moti Ben Shabbat, a resident of Nahariya, was discovered near the marina in the seafront. Apparently, he tried to rescue people who had been swept away, but swept away by himself. He is the fifth victim in a week.
Firefighter and Rescue Commissioner Former Dadi Simchi, who arrived earlier in Nahariya, said: "During the night the incident center is expected to move to the Central District, where heavy rainfall is expected tomorrow, with fear of flooding. All districts are preparing for the various scenarios, with a focus on providing a quick response for all citizens. And the rescue and information industry and training of the population are again asking the citizens to listen and obey the instructions of the emergency services and take a precaution.
In light of the situation and in the context of preparations for the storm, and perhaps even to intensify it, the Ministry of Education has decided at this time that there will be no studies tomorrow in Nahariya, Acre, Maalot and the regional councils of Asher and Ma'ale Yosef. As part of the early preparations, police will increase the number of hotspots in the Coastal District 100 hotline, in dozens of other hot spots, as part of the overall preparation for the winter system that has visited the area. Most of the inquiries dealt with weather damage, traffic arrangements and a request for police assistance along the way.
