Why is it shaking so much in Puerto Rico? 1:39
(CNN) - Consecutive earthquakes in Puerto Rico have added to the devastation that Hurricane Maria left in 2017.
An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 and several other strong tremors on January 7 killed a man and collapsed dozens of houses and structures. Many residents have no electricity or water; some sleep outside for fear of more structural collapses and aftershocks.
While many organizations are still on the ground following the destruction of Mary, more help is needed to support the immediate and long-term needs of earthquake victims.
