Washington-Sana
The United States announced the imposition of new economic sanctions against Iran, in the context of the aggressive policies pursued by Washington against independent countries that are not following its path.
A statement issued by the US Treasury said: The ban targeted major producers of the steel, iron, aluminum and copper sectors, and included 17 metal producers, Iranian mining companies, three institutions in China, Seychelles and a ship that ships Iranian metal products.
For his part, US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin said that the new measures include 8 high-ranking Iranian officials who "participated in the ballistic missile attack last Tuesday."
The Air Force had sent a space to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard last Tuesday targeting the base of al-Assad in western Iraq, in which American forces have two waves of ballistic missiles, in response to the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and his comrades, stressing that the missiles hit their targets accurately.
