"Walking separately is an outright walk," Shmuli said. "If 150,000 votes go to waste because of a dangerous and unnecessary gamble - we will hand over our power to Netanyahu and it will be unforgivable. This is not an ideological connection but a pragmatic situation in which the two parties are small and fragile and may not pass the barrier."

At the same time, there is a battle between Meretz and MK Shapir on the continuation of the partnership in the Democratic camp, created in the previous election by Meretz's connection with Shapir and the Israeli Democratic Party, which was then headed by Ehud Barak.
