On the morning of this Saturday in Puerto Rico there was a new earthquake with a magnitude 5.9 degrees after a period of minor scale aftershocks. The epicenter of the tremor was in the southern region of the island, specifically in the town of Indios, in the town of Guayanilla and had a depth of 9 kilometers, according to the United States Geological Survey. Since December 28, about 500 earthquakes have been recorded in Puerto Rico. María Santana flew over the most affected areas of the island and this is her report.
