After the postponement, the court gave the companies 138 days to prepare for the demolition of the buildings, which was eventually done in the last year after a large evacuation of residents of the area near the buildings. Beyond demolishing the buildings, the Supreme Court also ordered the construction company to compensate each of the apartment owners in the buildings it sold, imposing all financial responsibility on it for the consequences of its illegal activity.

All four of the dropped housing complexes are located in luxury areas of the city, and officials said, "it was relatively easy to overthrow them as there is no population living as densely populated as other urban areas in India." Nevertheless, around each of the four buildings has a security area of ​​about 200 meters, and the occupants of the adjacent buildings have also been evacuated.
