The Rural Education Directorate of Damascus has placed the Sayyid Quraish Primary Education School in the city of Arbeen, to serve today after its maintenance, rehabilitation, and repair of damage caused by terrorism.

Damascus Countryside Education Director Maher Faraj indicated in a statement to the SANA delegate that the school was provided with all the educational requirements of seats, tables and storage to be launched with the second semester, pointing out that the number of schools that were rehabilitated during the past year amounted to 279 schools and the Directorate will end in 2020 restoration and rehabilitation All schools damaged by terrorism to be put into service.

For his part, Khaled Mahawesh, the headmaster of the school, explained that the school operates two hours and accommodates 2000 students, who will return to work from tomorrow morning as it was before the war, noting the support of the Ministry of Education and the efforts of the people to rebuild their city.

In turn, the head of the Irbin City Council, Engineer Ratib Shahrour, drew attention to the great cooperation between the people and the governorate to serve their town in a way that reflects positively on them, especially the rehabilitation, maintenance and restoration of schools.

Anwar al-Sheikh Qweider, one of the families who contributed to the rehabilitation of the school, pointed out that after the liberation of the city from the abomination of terrorism, it was necessary to rebuild it in the hands of its children, especially the edifices of science that depict the future of the nation’s children.

And the governor of Damascus countryside, Alaa Munir Ibrahim, told reporters that work is underway to increase the number of qualified schools in Damascus countryside, as rehabilitation and restoration work has been completed for ten schools in Irbeen, while seven schools will be put into service soon, stressing the importance of the role of the civil society in that as an essential partner in the rehabilitation And the restoration of what was destroyed by terrorism.

The opening was attended by the Secretary of the Damascus countryside branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Eng. Radwan Mustafa, a number of managers and concerned with the governorate and civil, economic and popular activities.
