Amos Dov Silver, founder of the drug trafficking network in the Telegram "Telegram" app, which is currently in custody, announced Tuesday that he will contest the next elections for the 23rd Knesset. Silver is in second place in a new party that will run under the name "Liberal Economic Power," led by economist and market expert Gilad Alper, who was number 2 on the "Identity" list.

The 35-year-old Silver declared that "against the backdrop of the severe charges against Telegrass activists, and against the severe distress of cannabis consumers in Israel, I decided to propose my candidacy for the 23rd Knesset." He also explained that he was running for the purpose of promoting legalization and "changing the rules of the game using the democratic tools the state offers legitimately."

Meanwhile, Yigal Amir's wife Larissa Trimbobler also submitted her list to the Election Commission to contest the next election in March. Trimbobler, heads the list of "justice trials", and her coping was made possible after she made it clear that she did not in any way support or justify the assassination of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

Recall, earlier this month, Justice Department Party Attorney Eyal Globes endorsed Trimbobler's dealings, writing that "the nature of democracy allows different ideas to be heard when, due to fear of violating basic fundamental rights, party registration will only be prevented in extreme cases."
