A public servant and four other people were arrested this morning (Tuesday) for questioning on suspicion of involvement in bribery, fraud and breach of trust. It is suspected that the employee was working to advance the affairs of the four in exchange for the benefit of pleasure. The investigation is being conducted by the Israel Police, accompanied by the Taxation and Economic Affairs Office and with the assistance of the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Authority.
Last week, a senior prison service officer (IPS) was detained for questioning in the offices of the Lahav Unit 433 in police on suspicion of committing theft.
