The stones of the church of the Assumption of San Massimo to build a cladding of a house. The church has long been in a state of neglect, but is owned by the curia. It happens in Piana Crixia (Savona), where two people took possession of the rubble of the bell tower of the church of the late 1700s, deconsecrated for years, which fell due to bad weather last November. For this reason they have been reported for aggravated theft. The two were intercepted by the police while they were on a tractor pulling the load of stones. To direct the military were some citizens who had noticed the decrease in the stones of the bell tower. The carabinieri have ascertained that in the entrepreneur's property for about 10 meters and for a height of one and a half meters, the stone wall was already built and in the property there was a large pile of sandstones equal to those on the trailer of the tractor and corresponding to those of the bell tower. The stones transported, the wall and the tractor were confiscated.
