Engineer Ibrahim Asaad, director of Damascus fuel, said that the process of distributing heating oil to families has reached its final stages for the first batch of 200 liters per family, indicating the start of distributing the second batch during the month of February and the same amount.
Asaad said in a statement to the SANA economic bulletin that all requests were met in most of the capital's districts except for the high areas that suffer from narrow roads and difficult access to them such as the Rukn Al-Din and Al-Mazzeh region 86 and the neighborhood of Al-Worood and Jabal Al-Raz, indicating that more than 90 percent of the requests were distributed, where 52 million were distributed. Liter for about 260 thousand families out of 293 thousand applications, and it is expected to finish the process of distributing the first batch during the coming days.
He pointed out that the distribution of the second batch in Damascus will take place after the completion of the distribution of the first batch, and those who did not receive the allocations of the first batch can receive the two batches together indicating that the handover process in Quneitra Governorate and its affiliated communities in Damascus and its countryside is proceeding normally, so the distribution of the second batch has been completed at a rate 100 liters, as the distributed quantity reached more than 9.5 million liters.
