The Syrian Ready Made Garment Company Waseem has opened a production unit for ready-made garments in the town of Al-Qutailbeya in the countryside of Jableh, which is its second in Lattakia governorate to employ the children of martyrs and the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army, in cooperation with the administrative unit and civil and community activities.

The unit provides about 80 job opportunities per shift and can be run on two shifts to increase the achieved job opportunities and respond more to market demands, provided that female workers are trained through trained personnel from the company and companies affiliated with the Ministry of Industry.

The Minister of Industry, Eng. For his part, Haytham Zahir, General Manager of Waseem Company, pointed out that the unit is an integrated laboratory that has created job opportunities for more than 80 workers, indicating that the production units that were opened in the beginning of last year in several governorates secured about 500 job opportunities, the share of the martyrs ’families was approximately 50 percent.

A number of workers in the unit expressed their appreciation for this initiative by providing job opportunities close to their places of residence, including Susan Jamali, the wife of an injured person in the Syrian Arab Army, expressing her hope that it would be a step towards providing the best.
