"Perfect hideout": Epstein's estate in the Virgin Islands was used to rape girls
Photo: Reuters, edited by Nir ChenUS Virgin Islands prosecutors on Wednesday filed a lawsuit against the estate of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, claiming he raped and trafficked dozens of young men and girls on Caribbean properties he owned. The lawsuit significantly expands the scope of offenses attributable to the convicted pedophile, who ended his life in his prison cell last year. According to the lawsuit, his actions continued from 2001 to 2018 and among his victims were 11 or 12 year old girls.
The lawsuit seeks to impose civil penalties and some assets from the estate of the Jewish businessman, valued at $ 577 million. Among other things, Attorney General Dennis George wants to brew Epstein's two private islands, Little St. James and Great St. James. The lawsuit could reduce the amount of compensation possible to more than 20 of other charges against Epstein, after his suicide prevented them from seeing him convicted.
The estate executives set up a victim compensation fund, and they dismissed the lawsuit over George. They added that the foundation was not designed to protect anyone from liability.

Epstein committed suicide on August 10, at the age of 66, from hanging in a Manhattan jail cell after denying charges of rape and trafficking in women and girls in Manhattan and Florida between 2002 and 2005. He pleaded guilty in 2008 to felony prostitution charges in Florida, and served a 13-month prison sentence considered too light today. Epstein made friends with a world savior, such as British Prince Andrew, who retired from public life in November following a troubled interview about Epstein's victims.
According to the Virgin Islands prosecution, Epstein, with the help of his crime partners, "trafficked, raped, sexually assaulted and held captive" girls and young women at his Virgin Islands property, where he was listed as a sex offender in 2010. Epstein held a computerized database to track the girls who could be sent to Little St. James, which he acquired in 1998 as "the perfect hiding place" for his actions, which included "sexual bondage, petty exploitation and sexual assault."
In 2016, through a straw man, he bought Great St. James to hide his identity, prevent him from being supervised and prevent his victims from escaping there.
