[Wuhan Pneumonia] Two additional suspected cases including one-year-old girl have been diagnosed with influenza

Unknown pneumonia has occurred in Wuhan since the end of last year. The Bureau of Hospital Administration has listed suspected cases of suspected pneumonia after a visit to Wuhan as reportable cases for isolation and treatment. The Centre for Health Protection announced that as of noon today (16th), two additional suspected cases were reported: a girl who is only 1 year old and a 43-year-old man, both of whom have been confirmed to have influenza A. As of today, there are a total of 78 suspected cases in Hong Kong. The Hospital Authority stated that six of all reported cases remained in hospital for isolation, all in stable condition. There have been no confirmed cases of new coronavirus infection in public hospitals.

Information from the Centre for Health Protection showed that the new cases were a 1-year-old girl and a 43-year-old man who were hospitalized at Princess Margaret Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. They were both diagnosed with influenza A (H3).
