At the request of Walla! NEWS has been released to report that Haifa Magistrates' Court sentenced two months of service on Wednesday to 28-year-old Tamar Abu Al Hejah of Ein Khud, who attacked Jose while working as a caregiver in Haifa. Jose had edema in her head and broke the clavicle, but defense attorneys sought to ease her sentence because they claimed it was hard work, and the therapist was nine months pregnant.

The event took place on January 15, 2018, in the dining hall of the Hood's boarding school in the German colony in the city, intended for a population with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Abu al-Heja distributed the food to the vaccines, when one of the tenants at the residence, who was 16 at the time, got up from her chair several times. The caretaker walked over to the girl, holding both hands with her shoulder while the girl with her back to her, and pulled her back while the two encountered a bag lying on the floor. The girl fell down, lost consciousness for a few seconds, and caused her bleeding and edema in the head and broke the collarbone.

Immediately after the incident, Abu Al Heja was fired from her boarding school. She admitted to the facts of the indictment and was convicted of felony assault in aggravated circumstances. In ruling, the defendant stated that she was very sorry.

Her attorneys, Tammy Ullman and Shady Saruji, have asked the judge to settle for short-term service jobs, suspended jail and low compensation. According to them, it was someone who worked at the site for five years without incident, and she herself was attacked several times by vaccines. The two added that she said she acted out of frustration, helplessness and momentary impulse, and that it was an unusual event that did not reflect a behavioral pattern that characterized her.

"This is a very hard job, and at the time of the incident, she was nine months pregnant - which had an effect," the attorneys noted. "The legal process is a major deterrent and low risk of recidivism."

Senior Justice Orit Kantor, former Deputy President of Haifa Magistrate's Court, granted the defense counsel's request and sentenced Abu al-Hejah to two months' imprisonment, which he would like in service work at the Ha'avi Heart Association in Haifa, assisting the disadvantaged. Six months for three years, ordering an 18-month probation order under which Abu al-Heja will be incorporated into a treatment group designed for law-abiding women.
