The army units responded last night to the attacks by the terrorists of the Al-Nusra Front and its affiliated groups after they thwarted their attacks on the army's concentration points in the southeastern countryside of Idlib and expelled them from the villages of Tal Khatrah, Abu Jarif and Khirbet Dawood.
A Sana correspondent stated that, according to field information, the terrorists of the Al-Nusra Front organization and the Turkestan terrorist party launched attacks towards army points that were dealt with with appropriate weapons, thwarted attacks, and targeting convoys of vehicles, which resulted in heavy equipment losses and the killing of a number of terrorists.
The correspondent pointed out that the army units carried out a night operation in response to the attacks, which resulted in the defeat of the terrorists from three villages, namely Tel Khatrah, Abu Jarif and Khirbet Dawood.
The terrorist organizations deployed in some areas of Idlib countryside and south-east have launched attacks in large numbers over a number of towns recently liberated by the army, including Tlemans and Marshour, in parallel with their attacks with rocket-propelled grenades on the villages of Al-Aziziya and Ruseef in the northern Hama countryside.
