(CNN) - A video taken the day before an 11-year-old girl from Massachusetts was kidnapped captured a suspicious car traveling on the same street as the minor, according to a recording published by the Springfield Police Department.
The girl was kidnapped on Wednesday and then found safe after state police stopped the car she was in, acting at the notice of a civilian. The blue Honda sedan seen in the video matched the description of the suspect vehicle.
State police said a man forced the girl into the car on Wednesday while she walked home from school around 1:30 pm. A woman was driving the vehicle when the incident occurred, authorities said.

A surveillance camera in a home shows a blue car behind it while walking down a street on Tuesday.
"The car was also seen in the area yesterday," said Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood on Wednesday when police released the video.
After the girl was taken, authorities issued an Amber alert with a description of the suspicious car, and a person driving on the Massachusetts toll road saw the vehicle on Wednesday night.
When the Massachusetts State Police stopped the car, there was a man inside with the girl. She was taken to a hospital and had no apparent injuries, according to state police. Clapprood said the girl's condition seems to be "normal to good."
The arrested man, Miguel Rodriguez, 24, seems to have no connection with the girl, the commissioner said.

"I will tell you, I have been doing this for a while, and these types of situations are very few and far between which you really have a strange kidnapping of a little girl," he said.
The second person who was in the suspicious car at the time of the kidnapping has not been found, police said.
It is not clear if Rodriguez has a lawyer.
