The Egyptian Foreign Ministry reaffirmed that the agreement between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the head of the Libyan Accord government, Fayez al-Sarraj, is illegal and that "he and non-existent are equal."

The site of the seventh day quoted Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry as saying in a televised statement today that "Egypt has land and sea borders adjacent to Libya and therefore always has an interest in that any demarcation of the borders be in its direct circle," explaining that the agreement between the Turkish regime and the reconciliation government "in itself" It is illegal and therefore has no effect and neither is it equal. ”

Shoukry pointed out that the goal of Egypt's participation in the Berlin conference on the Libyan crisis lies in "that the influential regional states and the permanent members of the Security Council meet to lay down the road map and the elements necessary to restore stability to Libya."

Shoukry added that the Egyptian position stems from the need to "address all elements affecting the situation in Libya, namely that there be political agreement, internal and external consensus, the elimination of terrorism, the restoration of the formation of the presidential council, the executive authority being subject to authority, and the responsibility of the army and police in security tasks."

Yesterday, the foreign ministers of Egypt, Italy and Greece described Erdogan's announcement that his country started sending military forces to Libya as a "dangerous matter", noting that it threatens the Berlin conference on the Libyan crisis.
