For the first time since 2012, Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei will deliver a sermon and lead the Friday prayers in Tehran. The Ayatollah is expected to express its support for the Revolutionary Guards, after admitting to inadvertently dropping the Ukrainian plane during gunfire at US bases in Iraq.

In his sermon, Khamenei is expected to point a finger at "state enemies" including US President Donald Trump and Washington for "sowing rage at the Iranian public" and supporting hundreds of thousands of protesters, a senior Iranian official told Reuters.
