The self-defeating demonstrations continued for more than seven months, and about 7,000 people were arrested, four of whom became middle school and college students. At 6:10 pm, the rally has not yet started. Nearly a hundred people gathered in the amphitheatre. They were middle school students mostly wearing school uniforms, but there were also some parents who came to support them. Four Tai Po neighborhoods also appeared in the theater. They expressed their support for the students. "I want to know that I haven't left Qu Yuan." One of the women said that she felt heartbreak when she saw the police hit the students without discrimination. After the New Year's Day parade was beheaded, she also felt that "there is no space to even take Li Fei out on the street", but she said that as long as she can express her appeal, she will do it.

The rally began at 6.35 pm, and about 300 people gathered at the scene. At the beginning of the event, the audience stood up for a minute of silence. Subsequently, the organizer "Tai Po High School Student Speech Platform" issued a declaration saying that the event had lasted 252 days, but the protesters still adhered to the "five major demands", and they hoped to use this rally to cheer everyone up.

Chen Kaixing, the guardian of the child, first shared that police violence had run through it, and was not limited to physical violence, but also verbal violence. He said that in the operation of guarding children, he saw many police officers verbally verbally insult the demonstrators, "very shameful", including calling detained demonstrators "offenders", saying it was against the Basic Law. He believed that the police had used humiliation and intimidation to destroy the demonstrators. "This is the white terror of the regime."
