Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, warned that the launch of a "conflict resolution" mechanism in the nuclear agreement with Iran by Germany, France and Britain could lead to an "uncontrolled collapse" of the agreement.
"In general this is a very wrong decision ... This step is very dangerous and could lead to an uncensored process and the collapse of the agreement," Spinnik news agency quoted Nebenzia as telling reporters today.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said yesterday that the three European countries "Britain, France and Germany" surrendered to America regarding the nuclear agreement, stressing that activating the dispute settlement mechanism within the agreement "has no legal basis for it and a strategic political mistake."
