The Syrian Arab Army units operating on the southeastern axis of Idlib thwarted a violent attack by terrorist groups towards military points and safe areas, and caused heavy losses.
A Sana correspondent stated that during the past hours, army units engaged in violent clashes with terrorist groups that attacked army sites and safe villages on the Abu Jarif axis in the southeastern Idlib countryside.
The reporter pointed out that the clashes ended in thwarting the attack, after killing and wounding a number of terrorists and destroying heavy vehicles.
The army units defeated the terrorist groups yesterday from the villages of Tal Khatrah, Abu Jarif and Khirbet Dawood in Idlib southeastern countryside.
