Chairman of the Regulatory Committee and Chairman of the Blue and White faction, MK Avi Nissenkorn, on Friday, requested the Knesset's legal advice on an urgent clarification regarding the date of the plenum to set up a Knesset committee to discuss Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request for immunity. Signed 25 MKs from five factions, constituting a majority in the Knesset.

On Monday, the regular committee convened and decided by a majority of 16 supporters and five opponents to form the Knesset committee during the election period. The next day, Nissenkorn asked Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein to call the plenary again this week, but since then he has not responded when he intends to allow it to be convened. In his letter, Nissenkorn wrote that "under these circumstances, we held that there is a duty to convene the Knesset plenum A week in which the application was submitted, and certainly no later than the beginning of the week following the date of the application. "He added that" the opinion given by the Attorney General made it clear that the Knesset plenum must be convened.
