Two people were killed and 119 others evacuated today by the hurricane that struck the Pacific island of Fiji.
"A man and his daughter went missing while trying to cross a river when they were washed away by the flood waters caused by Hurricane Tino," she said, noting that people were evacuated from their homes in the outer islands of Fiji and many tourists fled from resorts on the sea and headed to the capital Suva before flights and services were suspended Ferries between islands.
