The fight against anti-Semitism in the United States: The number of states in America that have passed legislation against the BDS and its boycotts of Israel to date has risen to 27 yesterday.
This is after South Dakota Governor Kristy Speaker signed a state order banning organizations and companies promoting BDS boycotts in Israel.
South Dakota is one of the most distant states in the US. It is also the state with the smallest Jewish population of all 50 states, with only 250 Jews. Nevertheless, the governor has signed the state order.

Israel's Consul General to the Midwest, Spring Ezra, expressed satisfaction, in light of the well-known budget crisis in the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
"The activities of the South Dakota governor express clear and unqualified support in Israel, which is always important, especially these days," Ezra noted. "Despite the budgetary challenges in the Foreign Office these days, we are working to strengthen support for Israel in all nine Midwestern states within our area of responsibility, regardless of the size of the state or the Jewish community, and are pleased that our activity is bearing fruit."
