The protesters of the "Yellow Jackets" movement renewed their protest demonstrations in the streets of the French capital, Paris, today, condemning the policies of French President Emmanuel Macron and rejecting his project to amend the retirement systems.
According to Agence France-Presse, the French authorities fired tear gas to disperse the demonstrators and arrested 15 of the protesters who fired the slogans, "We are felicitous. We are coming to you in your house."
The move falls within the framework of the weekly demonstrations by the "yellow jackets" movement every Saturday since November 2018, which increased its momentum recently after opponents of the project of reforming pension systems and transport sector unions joined it.
The French authorities have faced these protests with excessive repression, resulting in many casualties and the arrest of thousands.
