Renewed sit-ins and protests in Beirut and some Lebanese regions to demand the acceleration of the formation of the government and improve the living situation and hold the corrupt accountable.

The Lebanese National Media Agency reported that a number of protesters in the Najma Square in central Beirut attacked the Lebanese security forces using firecrackers, stones, glass and wooden panels, and iron bars, while the security forces responded by spraying the protesters with water from the civil defense and firefighting vehicles, and erected a barbed wire fence at the entrances to the House of Representatives Lebanese and some institutions.

A number of demonstrators tried to forcefully enter the vicinity of the House of Representatives by uprooting a number of billboards and trees in the area and throwing them at the security elements in addition to throwing stones.

For its part, the Directorate of Internal Security Forces in Beirut stated that "violent and direct exposure to riot police is taking place at one of the entrances to the House of Representatives," calling for peaceful demonstrators to stay away from the place of riots in order to preserve their safety.

To that, security forces arrested two people today in Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon and another in Beirut on charges of trying to sabotage the computer in front of banks and causing sabotage in public property.

Today, Tripoli, Sidon, and Tire also witnessed protest demonstrations calling for an improvement in the living situation.
